Course Description

This two-week summer bridge course is designed to teach students how to think like the test. Rather than focusing on academic content, students will learn how standardized tests are structured, how to manage time effectively, and how to spot common traps and distractors.

Each session dissects the logic behind the SAT, PSAT, and ACT, equipping students with proven strategies like process of elimination, strategic skipping, and time mapping. Hands-on logic tasks and daily brain teasers reinforce critical thinking.

By treating the test like a puzzle and examining it piece by piece, students are given a clear framework to understand what to expect and how to navigate it strategically. Emphasis is placed on pattern recognition, process of elimination, and time management, all taught through low-stakes, game-like environments that encourage curiosity and confidence. The course is built on the principle that students learn best when they understand the system they’re working within, and that familiarity can make even high-stakes challenges feel manageable. This course is an ideal companion to traditional content-based test prep.
